“Elmie - knowhowknow” is film number two in the series knowhowknow - about the knowing of the land in Tråantelehkien from the ocean to the mountains. Elmie means sky, storm and air in south Sami language. It is a poetic take on air, breath, sky, birds, airplanes, mountains and wind, windpower industries. In the last ten years we have seen a development of wind industries in mountains and wetlands without any former infrastructure - a green colonialism that has taken traditional reindeer herding lands and bird lands.
