“Tjaetsie - knowhowknow” was the first in a series of films (knowhowknow) which takes as starting point to know the land and sea of Tråantelehkien from the Ocean into the border mountains. It investigates the relations to water and everyone, everything living off and/or with the ocean/water. I contacted the research department of NTNU, University of Trondheim - and the Ocean space project. Biologists and scientists, technologists and got on board of their scientific missions around the fjord. I wenr to the many fish farms, to the islands with traditional fisheries, to boat builders and the ferry constructions site, ferries and boat carriers, swimmers and divers - and the myths and histories of the past from oral history, to local historians to National broadcaster archive.
