The exhibition “ Kunna, Guanna, Concha” Kunsthall Trondheim 2022 with artists Elin Már Øyen Vister and Carolina Caycedo. The film “everything is speaking, first draft on Gorrijh Guanna” - based on local proverb from the coast “That was the time when everything was speaking” and the stories of Guri Kunna = Gorrijh gujne/guanna= the spawning lady. On cyclical world, fertility, care and life forces. In the title “Everything is speaking” the t(h)ree dimentional installation of my grandfathers boat and the root from “Rotvelt” (from the exhibition “Something is moving slowly in another direction” 2017) was included. There were 2 series of drawings presented: “She/her” about the use of female naming of sea mamals and fish - and “Maadth as a template” consisting of 7 drawings on root as metaphors in Saami worldview. There was also one drawing about placenames around the Tråanten voene/Trondheim fjord starting with “Ving-” as connected to the South Saami words for boat and meaning places/harbours where the traditional boats was drawn easily up on land. And a sketch of a critic of an archaeological report from escavations of “long houses” - as instead being big racks for drying of fish. The third and last drawing is a banner called “Schønings vekster” = “The growths from Schøning”, showing the head of Scientist, historian and archivar Gerhard Schøning as a potatoe that has grown stories and new storytellers for us.The work “ Hovren gåetie” was also included in the exhibition.
